Who We Are
The Snohomish County Black Heritage Committee is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose purpose is to celebrate and educate Snohomish County residents about the cultural roots and contributions of African Americans. We believe that anytime people of ethnic and cultural diversity can come together in the spirit of understanding and mutual enjoyment, the community as a whole will benefit.

Our Mission
The mission of the SCBHC is to enrich the residents of Snohomish County through knowledge of and the celebration of Black heritage. This is accomplished by educating the Snohomish County community about the African American culture, promoting racial harmony, and embracing cultural diversity and inclusion.
